Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.
Currently we are looking for: SME Analyst (f/m)
We’re looking for a hands-on quantitative analyst to own PnL accuracy of a retail division and data integrity across systems. You’ll execute robust controls, improve data flows and partner closely with Risk and the Business to explain PnL drivers, resolve issues and enhance transparency. If you thrive in data-heavy environments and love turning complex flows into clean, reliable reporting, this is for you.
Your responsibilities:
- Produce and validate PnL bridges and management commentary.
- Execute daily, weekly and monthly predefined sets of controls
- Monitor data flows between front, middle and reporting systems; their completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Triage of incidents (e.g., data freezes or gaps) with data and technology teams; drive end-to-end resolution and tracking.
- Coordinate teams to implement new or changed in data flows when products or processes evolve.
- Coordinate teams to reduce manual touchpoints and drive automation for legacy items.
Our requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI).
- 3-5+ years in quantitative, data scientists or analyst role.
- Experience in banks or trading houses (energy or commodities) would be a strong plus.
- Comfortable in cross functional environment and collaboration with other departments (Risk, Finance, Operation, and IT).
- Hands-on experience with ETRM systems would be a plus (Endur).
- Clear, concise communicator—able to turn complex movements into crisp commentary.
