As an SAP Payroll and Time Management Expert, you will play a key role in Axpo's HR modernization program, contributing to the successful implementation and maintenance of SAP Payroll and Time Management modules. This role focuses on deliver accurate payroll solutions, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Proficiency in SAP Payroll and Time Management is critical for this role and experience with Swiss payroll is a significant advantage.
What you will do:
- Act as IT project manager during program execution, defining requirements with stakeholders and understand payroll and time management processes.
- Analyze existing payroll and time management systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise the configuration of the SAP Payroll and Time Management modules to meet business requirements.
- Assist in implementing payroll and time management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions or enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and support during and after implementation.
- Oversee the project’s transition into operational mode and contribute to setting up a support model for ongoing service. Be part of the support model after implementation.
- Stay updated on SAP Payroll and Time Management features, new releases, and best practices.
- Manage system updates and SAP OSS notes while participating in related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and migrations.
What you bring & who you are:
- 6+ years of experience as an SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant or similar role.
- Expertise in SAP Payroll and Time Management modules, including configuration, schema, and rules.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in SAP Payroll tools (Payroll Control Centre, Wage Types, Personnel Calculation Rules).
- Experience managing end-to-end SAP Payroll and Time Management projects.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills across various departments.
- SAP certification in Payroll and Time Management preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging is an advantage.
- Experience integrating SAP Payroll with external systems adds value.
- Fluent in German and English is required; Spanish is a plus.
