Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.
Currently we are looking for: Senior Data Analyst (f/m/d)
We’re looking for a hands-on data/quantitative analyst to own the P&L accuracy of a retail division and ensure data integrity across systems. You’ll execute robust controls, improve data flows, and partner closely with Risk and Business teams to explain P&L drivers, resolve issues, and enhance transparency. Your responsibilities:
Perform daily analysis: Use tools like Excel, Python, or SQL to analyze P&L results, monitor risk KPIs, and manage reporting.
Execute controls: Run daily, weekly, and monthly predefined sets of controls to ensure financial rigor.
Monitor data integrity: Oversee data flows between front, middle, and reporting systems to ensure completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
Reconcile systems: Perform data reconciliation across platforms and address discrepancies.
Lead flow optimization: Coordinate with teams to implement new or updated data flows as products and processes evolve.
Drive automation: Collaborate across departments to reduce manual touchpoints and automate legacy processes.
Our requirements:
Master’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Development, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
Proficiency in analyzing data using various tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R) and/or dashboarding software (e.g., Power BI). You don’t need to master all of them, but a multi-tool skill set is advantageous.
3–5+ years in a quantitative or data science/analyst role, or a similar position utilizing the skills mentioned above.
Experience in the energy sector, banking, or trading houses is a significant plus.
Comfort working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with Risk, Finance, Operations, and IT.
A clear, concise communicator able to turn complex data movements into crisp, actionable commentary.Development in an international company that is shaping the face of the energy market.
