Business Continuity and Crisis Management Specialist (f/m/d)
Join Axpo and play a vital role in ensuring the resilience of our business operations and preparedness for potential crises. As a Business Continuity and Crisis Management Specialist, you will contribute to shaping our strategies, collaborating across diverse teams, and navigating complex challenges in a rapidly evolving environment.
What you will do:
Support and execute Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), manage the Business Continuity process catalogue, and create, maintain, and exercise Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
Be part of the the Group Crisis and Emergency Management Team to define crisis and emergency management plans, moderate simulations, and coordinate responses.
Support the further development of our framework in compliance with Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) regulations, including NIS2, CER, and other EU and Swiss frameworks.
Conduct yearly reviews of BCM and CEM maturity, establish meaningful metrics, and set improvement goals.
Support projects addressing extraordinary scenarios, such as supply chain resilience and ransomware preparedness.
Collaborate with other departments to embed BCM and CEM processes in their organisations and ensure timely responses to emergencies and crises.
What you bring & who you are:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in Business Continuity, Crisis and Emergency Management or Information Security.
At least 3 years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis and Emergency Management, ideally within critical infrastructure.
Knowledge of BCM frameworks and best practices; certifications such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, or BSI 200-4 are advantageous.
Familiarity with European regulatory requirements for BCM and CEM is preferred.
Any exposure to risk management or emergency response organizations is advantageous.
Eager to learn, collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Open mindset to approach conflicts as opportunities and understand diverse perspectives.
Fluent in English; German fluency is highly preferred.
