Join Axpo Iberia as a Software Engineer and play a key role in modernizing our invoicing solutions across multiple countries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of energy trading technology.
What you will do:
Design, develop, and support bespoke software solutions.
Capture requirements effectively and document software processes.
Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers.
Create and execute designs for new functionalities within software projects.
Solve complex problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Prioritize tasks with customers and deliver solutions in line with expectations.
Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
Estimate effort, evaluate technology options, and suggest process improvements.
Ideally have 5+ years commercial development experience to act as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer when required.
What you bring & who you are:
Engineering or computer science degree (or similar).
Proficiency in .Net development (predominantly C#)
Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and software delivery automation.
Experience in the energy trading domain (ETRM applications like OpenLink Endur is a strong plus).
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
