Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.

Currently we are looking for: Senior Accountant 

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate monthly closing and reporting processes
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data in cooperation with outsourced accounting providers
• Review reporting packages and clarify variances with finance and operations teams
• Monitor bookings and maintain clear, up‑to‑date accounting process documentation
• Manage statutory, regulatory, tax, and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with group and local auditors
• Support process‑efficiency and automation projects
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members when needed

Our requirements:

• Master’s degree in Economy, Finance, or Accounting
• 5–7 years of accounting experience in a large company
• Experience with IFRS and Polish GAAP accounting
• Knowledge of Polish compliance, regulatory reporting, and tax filings
• Experience with MS Dynamics and Tagetik is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• High analytical skills, ownership, and initiative
• Team-oriented, able to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in Polish and English
