Join us in Amsterdam to kick-start your career in optimizing meter data processes for Dutch commodity markets. You’ll support Middle Office data validation to ensure consistent PnL, invoicing, and imbalance reconciliations—and grow into Axpo’s go-to person for Dutch market regulations.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with Middle Office, local Front Office, and the Invoicing and Balancing team to detect, investigate, and resolve data issues efficiently.
• Validate received data to ensure compliance with company policies and support invoicing and balancing processes.
• Assist in enhancing checks and processes to improve the timeliness and quality of market information.
• Support internal teams in setting up and improving processes within Axpo’s operational landscape.
• Help coordinate external data providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data in line with Dutch market rules.
• Learn and grow into a reference role for Dutch market regulations, with guidance and support from experienced colleagues.
• Support middle office for ad hoc projects wherever the team needs to be involved.

What you bring & who you are:

• A degree in engineering, economics, business, physics, mathematics—or equivalent education.
• Up to 3 years of experience in a related field; internships or work experience in the energy sector or Dutch supplier environment (DSO/TSO operations) are a plus.
• Interest in Dutch energy regulatory frameworks and market data processes, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise.
• Analytical, structured, confident with working on large data, and eager to solve problems; a strong communicator and team player.
• Self-motivated and open to feedback, with a proactive approach to learning and improving.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Ideally, some exposure to programming, large data sources, or agile IT project management is a bonus—but not required.
