Strategic Procurement Manager Market Data

Workload: 100%

In this key strategic role, you will manage the procurement of Market Data solutions that drive informed decisions in energy trading and portfolio management. You'll focus on cost efficiency, compliance, and value creation across sourcing activities.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for Market Data solutions

  • Lead sourcing projects and negotiate contracts with data providers

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supplier performance

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and risk management standards

  • Collaborate closely with Market Data Licensing, Market Data IT, and other stakeholders

  • Analyze procurement data and report on sourcing KPIs

What you bring & who you are:

  • Degree in Business, Procurement, or a related field; certifications like CIPS/CPSM are a plus

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations

  • Familiarity with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, ICE, Refinitiv) and licensing models

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong communication skills

  • Fluent in English; German and other languages are an advantage

  • Comfortable with procurement tools (SAP, Oracle) and reporting platforms (Excel, Power BI)

You’ll join a collaborative and experienced Procurement team that works closely with IT, Legal, and Market Data experts to deliver best-in-class sourcing solutions for a fast-paced, global energy environment.
