ICS Manager – Finance & Trading specialized (f/m/d)

Axpo is building a new Group Internal Control System (ICS) function to ensure financial reporting integrity while supporting its ambitious goal of a climate-friendly future. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our control environment, ensuring effective financial, trading, and sales controls across the group.

What you will do:

  • Enhance, operate, and monitor the group's ICS framework with focus on Finance, Trading, and Sales
  • Advise and support process owners in implementing the ICS framework
  • Define and assess key controls, ensuring effective risk mitigation
  • Conduct periodic reviews to monitor control effectiveness
  • Identify automation potential of internal controls and implement continuous control monitoring
  • Drive ICS transformation, integrating AI and data-driven methodologies

What you bring & who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or Risk Management in Investment, Finance, or Energy markets
  • Strong knowledge of control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and relevant standards
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, trading platforms, and data analytics
  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to drive change initiatives
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; German is an advantage; French is a plus
