Senior Intra-Day Trader (f/m/d)

Developing and operating proprietary intra-day trading strategies while optimizing physical desk positions. At Axpo Sverige AB or Axpo Nordic AS, you'll leverage data-driven tools, compliance, and collaboration to achieve profit-oriented results.
What you will do:
- Execute intra-day electricity trading and optimize the physical desks' positions.
- Analyze power markets and portfolios to develop trading and optimization strategies.
- Create systems and tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational standards in trading.
- Prepare reports and follow up on trading activities.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as required.
What you bring & who you are:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience with a deep understanding of the Nordic power market.
- Proficiency in physical electricity trading, strategies, and algorithmic trading.
- Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, Git, Azure DevOps, Argo, Docker).
- Commercial mindset, self-driven, and capable of rational decision-making under stress.
- Fluent in English and one Nordic language.
