(Senior) Operations Controller (f/m/d)
As a Senior Operations Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing and operational excellence across various European energy markets. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver reliable results.
What you will do:
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for contracts across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, supporting cash collection processes
- Manage booking and validation requests, ensuring prompt processing of client price fixes received by 6:00 PM
- Oversee all aspects of invoicing, including data collection, standardization, reconciliation, and coordination of invoices and annexes
- Serve as the main contact for investigating and resolving billing disputes and related inquiries
- Manage the process lifecycle for customers, counterparties, and TSOs, including deal entry, invoice preparation, and operational readiness
- Support junior team members and contribute to documentation and process improvements
What you bring & who you are:
- Higher education in accounting, finance, economics, business, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in energy trading and sales
- Business fluent in English and Dutch; other European languages are a plus
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
