Axpo’s Digital Pods are leading our digital transformation to maintain a competitive advantage in a dynamic market. To support this strategic vision, we are looking for an Agile & Product Coach who will drive product thinking and agile practices across the organization. In this role, you will be essential to empowering teams to adopt an agile, outcome-driven approach, drive customer-centricity, and support Axpo’s Digital Pods in developing innovative products that fully leverage the potential of digitalization. 

What you will do: 

• Agile & Product Mindset: You lead the change in mindset and practices necessary to adopt Agile and Product thinking within the Digital Pod. You support shifting the organizational culture to one that fosters customer- centricity, collaboration, value-driven prioritization, and continuous improvement.  

• Coaching, Mentoring and Support: You provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the Agile teams, Product Owners, Product Managers and other organizational leaders within the Digital Pod and beyond. You guide your teams through the phases of product development and support them in the adoption of agile methods 

• Facilitation: You facilitate the implementation of Agile structures, roles, practices and ceremonies. You set and own the structures required, ensuring that these meetings are productive and that they help the team foster cross-functional collaboration. You facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution. 

• Training and Development: Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for Agile product teams and stakeholders. Teach teams how to integrate Agile with strong product management practices, ensuring that they are not just “doing Agile” but building the right products in the right way and embodying the agile mindset. 

• Support Scaling Agile Practices: You support scaling Agile practices across teams and departments within the Business Area. This includes interviewing stakeholders, documenting Ways of Working (including rituals), tailoring the agile framework to best fit the needs of the Digital Pod, and documenting and sharing best practices to ensure a consistent approach to agility  

• Performance Measurement: You (co-)define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Agile adoption and product-focused delivery. You help ensure that the KPIs align to the overall vision and priorities of the Digitalization strategy, business goals and customer outcomes, contributing to our overall objectives.  

• Support the team: Partner with the Digital Lead, Product Leaders, and Agile Coaches to meet the priorities of the Digital Pods and collectively build a sustainable transformation model. 

• Continuous Learning: Foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. 

• Communities of Practice: You may lead or participate in Communities of Practice, creating a forum for knowledge sharing and continuous development. 

What you bring & who you are: 

• Proven experience in roles like Agile Coach on program or portfolio level, Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master  

• Strong understanding of organizational agility and agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, unFIX)  

• Significant experience leading and coaching product teams and a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams incl. Business and IT 

• Experience in creating and delivering Agile training content, workshop materials, and guidelines, preferably accompanied by a trainer license (e.g., SPC, SaST, PST)  

• Excellent coaching as well as mentoring skills and experience mentoring agile product teams at differing maturity levels 

• Hands-on mentality and customer-oriented mindset, engaging directly with teams and helping them make an impact 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities 

• Data-driven mindset with expertise in metrics and analytics tools 

• You speak English and German fluently, Spanish is a plus
