GenAI Communication Intern (f/m/d)

Axpo is committed to driving innovation for a climate-friendly future. Our Generative AI Competency Center leads the adoption and responsible use of Generative AI technologies, empowering employees with the skills, knowledge, and tools to drive sustainable innovation. We are looking for a creative GenAI Communication intern to promote these efforts across the organization. You’ll collaborate with our communication and education teams, and a group of data scientists on cutting-edge AI initiatives while gaining insights into the exciting world of Generative AI.

What you will do:

  • Partner with the communication team to create awareness campaigns and promote internal events, workshops, and webinars
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop entry-level materials that explain GenAI concepts across Axpo
  • Manage the Generative AI communities on various platforms, keeping employees engaged
  • Produce engaging content, including blog posts, newsletters, videos, and social media updates to highlight GenAI initiatives
  • Work with the Competency Center to simplify complex AI topics for broader understanding
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements

What you bring & who you are:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Great interpersonal, writing, and editing skills
  • A passion for technology, with a desire to learn more about AI and its business applications
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about communication challenges
  • Familiarity with design or video editing tools is a plus
  • Fluency in German and English
