Who We Are Looking For:
We're in need of a seasoned .NET developer, not someone who merely dabbled in the basics. This position is for those who truly understand backend development, cloud architecture, and scalable systems. If that's you, keep reading.
What You'll Bring To The Team:
.NET Development: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, including proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core.
Azure Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing applications on Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, and others.
SQL Server: Extensive experience (5+ years) in database design, optimization, and management using SQL Server. Expertise in writing complex queries and performance tuning.
MongoDB & Redis: Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB. Knowledge of Redis for caching to enhance application performance.
CI/CD: Proficiency in using CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps) for pipelines, release management, and code repositories.
Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, and monitoring.
Nice-to-haves:
Containerization: Familiarity with Docker for containerizing applications. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration would be a significant plus.
Modern Development Practices: Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Performance Optimization: Proven ability to analyze and optimize application performance and scalability.
Other requirements:
Travel: Occasional travel to our headquarters in Baden, AG, Switzerland.
Language: Fluent, professional-level English is a must (95% of our communication is in English).
Problem-Solving & Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in diagnosing and solving complex problems.
Communication & Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment.
