Regulatory Reporting Specialist (f/m/d)

As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with European regulations while optimizing processes and driving innovation. What you will do:
Prepare, review, and optimize working processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Stay updated on market changes and initiate measures to implement them correctly and on time.
Act as the single point of contact for specific tasks and supervise daily/monthly operations.
Monitor and manage the reporting of all transactions in accordance with EMIR/REMIT regulations, solving technical issues with support from the IT department.
Reconcile financial and commodity positions, clarify discrepancies with external counterparties, and prepare regular reports for the Risk Department.
Use tools such as ReconArt and EBX to perform automatic and manual reconciliations.
Update training materials, checklists, and support the implementation of new tasks.
Collaborate with traders, originators, and teams across Risk, Legal, Controlling, Accounting, and IT departments to ensure smooth operations.
What you bring & who you are:
University degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar Back Office function, ideally within a finance institute or energy trading company.
Fluent in English; a second foreign language (e.g., German) is an advantage.
Advanced IT user skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Self-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Proactive, result-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ETRM systems (e.g., ENDUR) and reporting tools is a nice-to-have.
Knowledge of EQUIAS products (e.g., CMS, eRR) and European regulations (EMIR/REMIT) is a nice-to-have.
Strong understanding of the Deal Life Cycle and commodity markets is a nice-to-have.
