Axpo has been operating in the Polish market for over 20 years now. It employs about 270 people and is one of the largest independent offtakers of green energy. Customers in Poland benefit from tailor-made offers for the purchase and supply of energy and gas based on structured and long-term contracts. Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.
Currently we are looking for: Senior Fullstack Developer
Your responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of fullstack applications
Own the entire application lifecycle from architecture to deployment and monitoring
Drive frontend development with Next.js and TypeScript, focusing on performance and UX
Build and maintain backend services and microservices in Python
Implement high‑quality RESTful APIs
Integrate and operate GCP services and manage infrastructure with Terraform
Design and support event‑driven systems with Kafka
Ensure robust, automated, and secure CI/CD pipelines
Guide architectural decisions and maintain technical consistency
Mentor team members and perform code reviews
Champion best practices in testing, security, and scalability
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs
Stay up to date with modern technologies and industry trends
Our requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Leadership mindset with strong ethics, collaboration, and innovation orientation
Expert experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture
Strong backend development experience in Python (APIs, microservices, FastAPI/Flask/Django)
Experience with automated testing and Python performance best practices
Solid experience with GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
Proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows
Experience building event‑driven systems with Kafka
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD and automated testing
Familiarity with Sentry, Elastic Stack, and GCP Cloud Logging
Ability to lead technical discussions and document decisions clearly
Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles
High ownership, initiative, and strategic thinking
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Adaptability, resilience, and commitment to mentoring
Ability to inspire and influence others with a long‑term vision
Fluency in Polish and English
