Mid Office Services Lead (f/m/d)

What you will do:
Lead and oversee the Risk Data Quality function, focusing on investigating, tracking, and resolving complex issues related to deal representation in Axpo’s systems.
Define, implement, and operate checks to reduce the number of risk adjustments and improve data quality.
Propose and drive the implementation of improvements in deal modeling, reporting, and quality assurance throughout the Deal Life Cycle.
Develop and operate P&L consistency checks related to balancing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliation in central and local balancing books.
Actively participate in international projects covered by the Mid Office.
Set performance goals for the team, fostering efficiency and encouraging maximum dedication.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and collaboration.
What you bring & who you are:
Education: A university degree in STEM, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Leadership skills:
High ethical standards, creating a safe and inclusive environment for your team.
A focus on connection, belonging, and fostering positive relationships.
Openness to innovation and experimentation.
Professional expertise:
Strong technical analysis and business design skills in complex organizations.
Knowledge of financial or commodity trading; experience with ETRM systems is a plus.
Familiarity with large multi-linked IT systems; experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is an advantage.
Understanding of software development methodologies, data analysis, and programming languages.
Personal qualities:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured approach.
Results-driven, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Willingness to travel when necessary.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
