Join Axpo to lead, scale, and continuously improve our Common Data Environment (CDE) on Autodesk Forma. You will steward a mission‑critical platform used by 600+ colleagues across 200+ projects in multiple countries. This is a project leadership role that orchestrates outcomes through partners and vendors, emphasizing outsourced development and integrations over in‑house engineering. Your work will accelerate the digital transformation of Axpo’s energy infrastructure portfolio across Europe—boosting collaboration, data quality, and delivery performance.

What you will lead

Platform Configuration & Technical Ownership

Configure and maintain project environments: folder structures, naming conventions, metadata, workflows, permissions, templates.
Be the go-to expert when something is broken or needs reconfiguring.
Define and evolve enterprise standards across countries.

Adoption & User Enablement

Drive adoption across 600+ users — from early adopters to skeptics who prefer SharePoint.
Deliver practical, role-based training (guides, short videos, hands-on sessions) — not generic slide decks.
Build a local champions network. Diagnose and fix the root causes of low usage.

Information Management & Automation

Define naming conventions, folder taxonomies, and classification standards (ISO 19650 or equivalent).
Write functional specifications for integrations built by external partners. Run UAT.
Use scripting (Python, Autodesk APIs, Power Automate) to reduce manual work and improve data quality.

Compliance & Governance (growing responsibility)

Support audit trails, retention policies, and compliance reporting as the platform matures.

What you bring

Must Have

Hands-on Autodesk Forma experience. You have configured projects, managed permissions, and troubleshot issues yourself. Non-negotiable.
3+ years with CDEs in infrastructure, energy, or construction in Europe or the United States.
Proven adoption track record — training, onboarding, or change management for 100+ users.
Information management knowledge — naming conventions, metadata, document lifecycle, ideally ISO 19650.
Ability to write functional specs a vendor can act on.
Fluent English.

Strong Plus

Large infrastructure projects (€100M+) — rail, tunnels, energy.
Team leadership (3–10 people: BIM coordinators, document controllers).
Scripting / automation — Python, Revit API, Civil 3D API, Dynamo.
German language skills.

Nice to Have

Engineering background (Building, Civil, Architecture).
BIM tools familiarity (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D).
EU compliance / ISO 27001 exposure.
