• Develop grid connection strategies during project origination phases.

• Identify, assess, and prioritize feasible connection points, performing capacity screenings and grid studies.

• Prepare and manage interconnection applications (TICA/STMG), ensuring compliance with Italian grid codes.

• Analyze grid restrictions and propose optimized technical solutions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian DSOs and Terna, negotiating technical and commercial conditions.

• Optimize grid connection costs, prepare budget estimations, and support financial assessments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Technical, Finance, Legal, Procurement) to align technical, commercial, and regulatory constraints.

• Facilitate the transition from Ready-to-Build (RtB) to COD, ensuring smooth handover to construction teams.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical.

• 5–8 years of experience in renewable energy interconnection, with deep knowledge of Italian grid codes and regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize technical and financial solutions.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, especially with DSOs/TSOs.

• Proficiency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.

• Willingness to travel across Italy as required.

• Ideally, experience with utility-scale solar PV projects and familiarity with interconnection processes.
