Senior HR Generalist (Temporary) (f/m/d)
Join Axpo Iberia as a Senior HR Generalist (Temporary) and make an impact by ensuring smooth HR operations during a key maternity leave coverage period. This role is your opportunity to contribute to both local and global HR initiatives while supporting employees and managers in Spain.
What you will do:
- Act as a trusted HR contact for managers in assigned departments, collaborating with the HRBP and local HR team.
- Coordinate local labor processes, ensure compliance with Spanish legislation, and adapt operational topics to Axpo Spain’s needs.
- Support regulatory updates and policy implementation, including the equality plan, anti-harassment policy, and annual learning plan.
- Assist managers in employee relations topics like disciplinary cases, performance issues, and long-term absences.
- Execute global HR processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, and culture initiatives, and define local measures.
- Manage employee onboarding, training coordination, and communications related to HR activities.
- Collaborate closely with global HR teams on projects and day-to-day activities.
What you bring & who you are:
- University degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or similar.
- At least 5 years of HR experience, ideally in multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and Spanish labor law, with experience working in international teams.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools, as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Native Spanish and fluent English language skills.
- Personal qualities: teamwork, assertiveness, attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive, innovative mindset.
