Origination Portfolio Manager & Structurer (f/m/d)
Join Axpo Greece to shape the regional energy markets. Drive pricing, structuring, and portfolio optimization across power and gas while building tools and insights that unlock value in Greece and the Balkans.
What you will do:
- Price and structure complex deals (PPAs, retail supply, balancing, market access, BESS tolling, options, spreads)
- Hedge, manage, and optimize renewable/corporate PPAs, retail supply, and BESS positions
- Generate PnL via short- and long-term trading in Greece and neighboring markets
- Build and maintain pricing, position management, and market models (power stack, DA/imbalance, FCR/aFRR/mFRR)
- Analyze Greek and Balkan power & gas fundamentals; monitor regulations and market codes to inform decisions
- Support deal lifecycle (capacity auctions and flows optimization, analytics automation, reporting, Middle/Back Office support)
What you bring & who you are:
- Must-have: 5+ years in trading/origination or related commercial roles; strong knowledge of Greek energy market and regulations
- Must-have: Ability to price/explain structured energy products; advanced analytical and presentation skills
- Must-have: Proficiency in English (fluent) and Greek (proficient), written and spoken
- Must-have: Experience with one or more of Python/VBA/R/Matlab; strong Excel and Power BI skills
- Ideally: Master’s in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- Ideally: Broad professional network; stakeholder management across risk, trading, scheduling, credit, accounting, legal
- You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings, collaborate openly, and grow ownership with limited supervision
