Business Operations Analyst (f/m/d)
Join Axpo UK as a Business Operations Analyst and play a vital role in managing operational responsibilities related to natural gas, electricity, and green certificates. Reporting to the Head of Project & Process Management, you'll be part of a dynamic team driving process improvements within a controlled environment and supporting business growth.
What you will do:
- Manage Axpo’s internal operational tasks, including contract confirmation, deal booking and validation, and invoicing of complex energy supply contracts.
- Oversee interactions with Central Data Service Providers and monitor industry data flows.
- Validate invoices from retail and wholesale markets, ensuring alignment with internal systems.
- Support the development and integration of new business in gas and electricity markets.
- Drive initiatives to improve current processes and support deal execution.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, market operators, market regulators and auditors.
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel (including VBA) and Microsoft Office; SQL, Python and Power Automate is a plus. Working knowledge of ENDUR is desirable,
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- UK energy experience is desirable
- An understanding of Operational Risk would be of benefit.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team-oriented, responsible, and able to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Fluent in English.
