Energy Management Analyst (f/m/d)

What you will do:
- Optimize short-term renewable energy portfolios through machine learning models and analyzing tools.
- Making data-driven decisions for CCGT operations.
- Analyze and optimize generation portfolio mixes, including client penalty imbalance contracts
- Pricing analysis of International Power Markets in collaboration with other Axpo's hubs
- Develop forecasting tools and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions and regulatory changes.
- Conduct market analysis and create dashboards to enhance market participation.
- Report and analyze P&L results, designing insightful reports for stakeholders.
What you bring & who you are:
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of energy markets, strategic planning, and mathematical modeling.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, VBA, Python, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with CCGT operations, renewables portfolios, and coal plant monitoring.
- Problem-solving mindset with a capacity for statistical analysis and dashboard creation.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-changing environment.
