As a BI Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced business intelligence solutions. You’ll turn complex data into actionable insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding junior engineers. Your expertise in Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, Azure, Databricks, and PySpark will be instrumental in driving our data analytics initiatives and fostering innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain complex and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support advanced analytics and reporting for large datasets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery from source systems via Databricks into Power BI.
- DAX Optimization: Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations to meet high-level reporting needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide advanced technical solutions.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering skill development within the team.
- Scrum Participation: Support the Scrum team in delivering efficient and high-quality solutions for customers.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong passion for data and BI solutions with extensive experience in delivering BI projects.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Analytical mindset with a background in engineering, mathematics, business, or a related subject.
- Extensive experience with Power BI or other BI tools for report and dashboard creation.
- Expertise in data modeling concepts and advanced DAX calculations.
- Advanced Spanish and English language skills; German is a plus.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Automate or Power Apps.
- Familiarity with additional technologies such as Azure, Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge of MS Fabric.
