In this role, you will coach stakeholders, enhance platform capabilities and ensure operational excellence for both Dataiku and Abbyy, enabling business teams across Axpo’s different locations internationally to successfully design and deliver on their data and analytical needs.

What you will do:
- Empower users: Guide business stakeholders in leveraging Dataiku and Abbyy to deliver scalable and impactful data projects, offering support for use case implementation.
- Ensure platform excellence: Help maintain the platforms, manage cloud infrastructure and automate operational tasks for optimal performance.
- Enhance platform capabilities: Develop core features for Dataiku (e.g., data connectors, plugins, APIs, and pipeline automation).
- Expand in-house solutions: Maintain and enhance a custom-built management application that complements the Dataiku platform suite.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with cross-functional teams and domain experts to embed Dataiku and Abbyy into a comprehensive solution ecosystem.
What you bring & who you are:
- You are a skilled developer or data engineer (5+ years’ experience) with extensive practical knowledge in Python. Experience in other widely adopted programming languages as well as experience with Web App development frameworks, distributed computation or Large Language Models is a plus.
- Solid practical experience with Linux, DevOps, Cloud development and the use of Kubernetes.
- You’re curious and self-motivated, not afraid to take the initiative and challenge the status quo. You have a proven track-record of fostering innovation.
- You combine strong communication skills with a user-first mindset and are willing to learn and explore how to best address business needs.
- Preferred: Hands on experience with modern data science- (e.g. Dataiku, Alteryx, Rapidminer, Databricks, Snowflake, ...) and OCR solutions.
- Preferred: prior experience in the energy or trading industry.
