As a Backend Engineer, you'll develop and maintain back-end systems, ensuring seamless user experiences while collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for optimal functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and integrate cloud platforms like Azure.
• Apply best practices in clean coding, responsive design, and containerized setups using Docker.
• Develop microservices with Spring Boot, conduct code reviews, and enhance our modern tech stack.
• Manage integrations and ensure seamless user experiences across the tech stack.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of hexagonal architecture principles.
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications and experience with Docker and YAML.
• Experience with Azure or another comparable cloud provider is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus.
