Axpo Iberia SL is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to ensure consistency and accuracy in PnL processes across multiple countries, specifically for balancing activities. This role involves defining and implementing PnL checks, monitoring data quality, and developing improvement measures to support the origination business.
What you will do:
- Define, implement, and operate PnL consistency checks, focusing on balancing PnL for multiple countries.
- Collaborate with Market Risk to investigate origination-related PnL issues.
- Propose and drive improvements in balancing deal modeling, reporting, and quality assurance.
- Optimize and enhance reporting frameworks for onboarding, PnL balancing, and data quality.
- Ensure data accuracy and availability in cooperation with HQ IT and Middle Office teams.
- Contribute to international projects, providing insights on PnL consistency and deal modeling.
What you bring & who you are:
- University degree in engineering, IT, economics, physics, or mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of data management, analysis, and processing; advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), relational databases, and BI software.
- Experience with ETL processes and understanding of business requirements.
- Knowledge of commodity or financial trading and ETRM systems is a plus.
- Team-oriented, structured, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
