Process and Governance Architect
The ‘Process and Governance Architect’ plays a critical role in designing and maintaining an overarching process architecture and governance structure for Axpo. In this role, you will create a strategic roadmap for the process intelligence suite and methodology that aligns with organizational goals and supports sustainable usability across the company’s business processes.
As the Process and Governance Architect, you will ensure structural integrity, standardization, and compliance of end-to-end business processes, contributing to Axpo’s long-term strategic efficiency goals. You will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders to support holistic process intelligence, improvement, analysis, and mining efforts.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Group-Wide Framework & Governance: Lead the development and governance of Axpo’s group-wide process house framework, including maintaining a roadmap for tool suite development and upholding the standards of process excellence methodology.
- Process Architecture Development: Define and develop the organization's process architecture framework, encompassing process concepts, landscapes, and dashboards that integrate seamlessly with business and IT systems across Axpo’s divisions.
- Methodology Foundation: Establish and standardize process excellence methodologies, ensuring consistent terminology, methods, and defined roles across the organization.
- Documentation Standards and Tools: Develop and maintain documentation standards, guidelines, templates, and tools to ensure all processes are thoroughly documented and easily accessible.
- Governance Compliance and IKS Interface: Ensure adherence to process governance standards, act as an interface with Internal Control Systems (IKS) for training, and ensure quality compliance.
- Strategic Process Improvement Planning: Contribute to strategic planning for process improvements, ensuring they are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s goals.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with departments to ensure that process documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date, facilitating audits and adherence to standards.
- Process Integration and Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new processes and standards, ensuring they are fully integrated into existing systems and practices.
- Process Excellence Support: Act as a resource for Process Excellence, providing tips, tools, and training. Lead or participate in process architect and governance projects across Axpo.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or a related field, with a strong focus on Operational Excellence, Governance, and Process Management.
- Proven record of certifications and training in process framework and governance.
- Knowledge of process intelligence tools and IT applications (e.g., Celonis) is a plus.
- Experience in Change Management.
- Familiarity with Lean Management and process mining is an advantage
- Experience in moderating stakeholder groups.
- Skilled in developing and delivering training programs on process management methodologies and governance standards.
Professional Competencies
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Process Architecture Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of process architecture frameworks, governance concepts, landscapes, and dashboards.
- Strategic and Practical Approach: Ability to translate theoretical concepts into strategic roadmaps and hands-on solutions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Skilled in managing architecture and governance for end-to-end processes, fostering alignment across functions.
- Process Design and Documentation: Proficient in designing and documenting complex end-to-end business processes, landscapes, and architectures; familiarity with process management tools.
- Modeling Language Proficiency: Experience with BPMN or similar languages for precise process documentation.
