We are looking for an experienced C# developer to become the backbone of one of our main applications related to the forecasting and balancing of our portfolios for the day-ahead scheduling process. This role offers a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in the energy market and play a pivotal role in an important business unit of our organization.
What you will do:
- Build a solid understanding of our forecasting/balancing application for both technical and business aspects.
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications (Angular, .Net Framework).
- Assist in migrating from the .NET Framework to the latest .NET versions and to the cloud (Azure).
- Work closely with business stakeholders to support and fulfill their requirements.
- Contribute to the automation of development processes and the implementation of DevOps practices.
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development (8+ years), especially with C#.
- Proficiency in both front-end (Angular) and back-end development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Previous experience in the energy industry or financial markets is a plus.
