Group IT at Axpo is undergoing a comprehensive transformation. This includes the introduction of agile methods as well as the insourcing and improvement of existing IT services. As an IT Service Management Consultant, you will be the go-to person in Axpo Group IT, responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and improving IT service delivery processes. Your role is essential for enhancing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our IT services. You will collaborate closely with service management, procurement, finance, and other departments to ensure that processes are efficiently designed, implemented, integrated, and operated. You will also contribute to all digitalization initiatives, helping to automate and improve Axpo’s IT Service Management capabilities.
What you will do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain ITSM processes and frameworks based on best practices such as ITIL, considering other connected frameworks such as SAFe.
- Ensure that IT services align with business needs and provide value to the organization.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the IT department.
- Streamline IT service delivery to improve efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
- Implement continual service improvement processes.
- Analyze service performance data and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular reviews of ITSM processes and services.
- Provide training to IT staff on ITSM processes and tools.
- Offer support and guidance to ensure proper adherence to ITSM practices.
What you bring & who you are:
- ITIL Managing Professional or ITIL Strategic Leader certification.
- At least 5 years of profound experience in IT Service Management.
- Profound knowledge of service management practices based on ITIL 4.
- Experience with ServiceNow or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project management skills.
- Experience in contributing to the process design and implementation of several service management practices in a complex environment.
- Fluent English; German and Spanish are an advantage.

You will be part of the IT Transformation & Customer Success team at Axpo, a team dedicated to ensuring that IT processes are efficiently designed, implemented, integrated, and operated. The team works collaboratively across different departments including service management, procurement, and finance, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Axpo’s IT services. The team is also heavily involved in digitalization initiatives, aiming to automate and improve IT Service Management capabilities, thereby playing a critical role in Axpo’s IT transformation journey.
