Group IT is undergoing a comprehensive transformation. This includes the introduction of agile methods as well as the insourcing of existing IT products & services and their improvement or recreation.
As the IT Asset Management process owner for Group IT, you will define goals, scope, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and compliance audits.
You support the IT Asset Manager with asset lifecycle management, maintaining data continuity in the asset repository, and ensuring compliance.
You will have the overview of all Group IT assets and will give guidance to asset owners on how to effectively maintain data within the repository/CMDB, including asset models.
The IT Service Management Consultant is part of the IT Transformation & Customer Success team. Here you will collaborate with Product & Service Owners, the service management team, procurement, finance and others to ensure that processes are efficiently designed, implemented, integrated and operated efficiently.
Finally, you will contribute to all digitalization initiatives which will help to automate and improve Axpo’s IT Service Management capabilities.
What you will do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain ITSM processes and frameworks based on best practices such as ITIL with focus on IT Asset Management and IT Service Configuration Management, considering other connected frameworks such as SAFE.
- Tracking and governing compliance of the process, including providing internal quality and compliance expertise to IT project teams to help as-sure compliance with Axpo policies and local/international regulations
- Ensure that IT services align with business needs and provide value to the organization.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the IT department.
- Streamline IT service delivery to improve efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
- Provide training to IT staff on IT Asset Management and IT Service Configuration Management and tools, within & outside Group IT.
- Offer support and guidance to ensure proper adherence to ITSM practices.
What you bring & who you are:
- Profound knowledge of service management practices based on ITIL 4
- Profound experience in IT Asset Management, at least 5 years
- Prior experience as domain architect (or Enterprise Architect)
- Experience with Jira Service Management or Power BI is a plus
- Exposure to product-oriented organizations is considered a plus
- Project management skills
- Experience in contributing to the process design and implementation of several service management practices in a complex environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluent
- Spanish or German is a plus

You will be part of the IT Transformation & Customer Success team at Axpo, a team dedicated to ensuring that IT processes are efficiently designed, implemented, integrated, and operated. The team works collaboratively across different departments including service management, procurement, and finance, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Axpo’s IT services. The team is also heavily involved in digitalization initiatives, aiming to automate and improve IT Service Management capabilities, thereby playing a critical role in Axpo’s IT transformation journey.
