Join Axpo, a pioneer in the energy sector, as our Group IT Project Manager for the New Nuclear Domain (NND) project. Lead a strategic initiative to overhaul business IT infrastructure across several nuclear facilities, driving our vision to be the top IT organization in a European energy company. This role is pivotal in achieving operational excellence and innovation within our IT operations.
What you will do:
- Plan and oversee the integration of IT services across nuclear sites, ensuring alignment with broader project objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design comprehensive migration strategies for IT infrastructure, including timelines and milestones.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices to enhance project execution.
- Provide detailed monthly reports on project progress and resource allocation to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Oversee all project phases to guarantee compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
What you bring & who you are:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Certified in Project Management, with proficiency in both agile and traditional methods.
- Minimum of 8 years in IT project management within a matrix organization, particularly in complex, regulated environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Adept at problem-solving and developing effective IT strategies.
- Fluency in German and English, Spanish is a plus.
