As an IT Asset Manager at Axpo, you'll play a pivotal role in the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring data continuity and compliance within our dynamic and evolving IT landscape. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of IT Asset Management, contributing significantly to the digitalization and efficiency of our processes.
What you will do:
- Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT Asset Management process.
- Ensure documentation and training related to IT Asset Management are up to date.
- Collaborate in establishing and maintaining an IT Asset Management capability model.
- Work closely with the IT Asset Management Process Owner to evaluate and improve Configuration Management systems.
- Maintain data continuity within the asset repository and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of configuration items and assets.
- Manage daily activities in the lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Support the maintenance of the customer-facing catalog of assets.
What you bring & who you are:
- ITIL Managing Professional or Strategic Leader certification (minimum ITIL 4 Foundation).
- Profound knowledge of service management practices based on ITIL 4.
- At least 2 years of profound experience in IT Asset Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
- Expertise in process design and implementation of IT asset management in complex environments.
- Effective communication skills, tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
