BIM Modeller Senior in Revit (f/m/d)
Workload: 80-100% | 6-months temporary with possible extension
As a Senior BIM Modeler with a focus on the construction of high-voltage infrastructure, you will lead BIM modeling in Revit, mentor junior staff, and develop standard components. Proficiency in BIM programming and automation is essential. This role, offering remote work with occasional travel to Switzerland, provides a unique opportunity to contribute to Axpo's BIM capabilities program, demonstrating expertise in infrastructure projects and shaping BIM standards within a leading energy organization.
What you will do
- Lead senior BIM modeling initiatives, focusing on training junior staff in Revit and automation processes
- Execute BIM modeling tasks encompassing the comprehensive modeling of civil works using Revit, while concurrently establishing a library of standardized components
- Drive BIM programming efforts, particularly in automating BIM workflows in Revit, preferably leveraging the Revit API
- Manage BIM activities, overseeing the development of standardized BIM modeling protocols in Revit for constructing high-voltage substations and powerlines
- Contribute to various tasks within Axpo's BIM capabilities program
- Work Independent yet connected to our young team of BIM experts set in an Agile Management structure
What you bring & who you are
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related qualifications relevant to civil works design (foundations, structures, etc.)
- Advanced training in Autodesk Revit, including programming, is advantageous
- Basic training in BIM Management is desired but not mandatory
- Independent Leadership of small projects
- Act as a role model, actively transferring knowledge to junior staff
- Strong competences with Revit, including programming for various automations
- Proficient understanding of OPEN BIM formats for information exchange and collaboration
- Good knowledge of Inventor is advantageous
- Willingness to work in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment, demonstrated by previous experience
- Strong social and knowledge transfer skills, as evidenced by previous teaching experience
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory
- You must possess a valid permit/citizenship to work in Switzerland. No sponsorhip will be offered
