Software Development Team Lead (f/m/d)

The successful candidate for the position is an already experienced development team lead that will lay the foundations of a newly created international software development team which will take care of existing in-house applications and new ones mostly related with energy data and its analysis. As a Software Development Team Lead you will be involved at multiple stages in the life cycle of our in-house applications.
What you will do
- Lead a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize software requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the software development life cycle
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
What you bring & who you are
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or other related field
- You have a proven experience in software development with knowledge in front-end technologies (React+Redux) and solid experience in back-end technologies (C#, Python, Java)
- You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- You have experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) as well as strong CI/CD experience
- You possess knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices and tools
- You have a solid understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
- You are proficient in observability and logging tools and practices
- You are a good communicator who ensures quality customer interaction
- You are fluent in English and have a good understanding of Spanish
About the team
We maintain a strong partnership with our Swiss team and internal clients, fostering close collaboration. There will be several visits to the Swiss headquarters for training and meetings throughout the year.
The role demands consistent technological learning, which is just as important as fulfilling your other responsibilities. A strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to solve clients' problems rather than focusing on personal ones are highly valued.
