We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic IT department. In this role, you will handle the entire patching process with finesse, coordinate maintenance windows, mitigate risks, and tackle special cases that require manual patching. As an invaluable member of our team, you'll also collaborate closely with Senior System Engineers, assisting them with incident and problem-solving tasks. What you will do:

• You are monitoring and evaluating the latest Security Threads for Windows Server Systems together with Security Team (SOC)
• You develop security patching baselines and patch deployment plans following the Axpo Enterprise policies
• You coordinate with the businesses and external consultants about patching times and possible impacts
• You carry out the patching with the patch management system according to the plan
• You react immediately to emergency patches together with the Security Team
• You are supporting the system engineers in daily simple tasks such as server housekeeping, monitoring systems, data access management, hardware upgrades, and other important tasks

What you bring & who you are:

• You have a foundation as a computer scientist in platform development
• You bring one year of experience as an MS System Engineering in larger environments
• You have a good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Windows-based server systems in an enterprise hybrid cloud environment
• You are proficient in English (written & oral)
