Join our team as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer and unleash your engineering prowess to revolutionize our systems and processes. Your responsibility will encompass building and maintaining sustainable production systems that seamlessly adapt to the ever-changing global business environment. From installation and automation to monitoring and troubleshooting, you will be at the forefront of driving our platform's evolution.
What you will do:
- You will ensure the stable operation of the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
- You assist in the automation of systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- You contribute to improving the reliability, quality, and time-to-market of systems, platforms, and applications used in Axpo
- You plan and carry out the changes in compliance with implementation guidelines and specified IT processes and specifications of IT operations
- You provide active software release management
- You are measuring and optimizing the system performance with the aim to driving our capabilities, staying ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continuous improvement
- You are willing to work occasionally on weekends, outside the office hours and on-call-duty
What you bring & who you are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field
- You are able to program with one or more languages as Powershell, Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP
- You have a good knowledge of markup languages such as json, XML or yaml
- You bring a basic knowledge of automation practices like Infrastructure as Code or Terraform
- You are proficient in English (written & oral)
