Senior Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/d)

Join us as a Site Reliability Engineer, where your engineering expertise and unwavering drive to enhance systems and processes will take center stage. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring the availability and reliability of critical platform services and applications, meeting the needs of both internal and external users. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with Senior SREs and DevOps Engineers. Join us on this exciting journey of continual improvement and be a driving force in shaping our future.
What you will do:
- You assist in the automation of systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- You contribute to improving the reliability, quality, and time-to-market of systems, platforms, and applications used in Axpo
- You are measuring and optimizing systems performance with the aim of driving our capabilities, staying ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continuous improvement
- You will create technical descriptions and documentation of the application deployment procedure and the deployment packages
- You are going to collaborate with development teams (DevOps) to improve services through consistent testing and release procedures
- You contribute to the system design consulting, automation, platform management, and capacity planning
- You are willing to work occasionally on weekends, outside office hours, and on-call duty
What you bring and who you are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field
- You bring more than three years of experience in larger and complex IT environments
- You are able to program with one or more languages, such as Powershell, Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP
- You bring good knowledge of markup languages like ison, XML or yaml
- You have a solid knowledge of automation practices like infrastructure such as Code or Terraform
- You are experienced in Azure
- You are proficient in English (written & oral)
