Junior System Engineer Microsoft Services and VDI (f/m/d)

Join our team, where you will play an important role in automating virtual machines provisioning, maintenance, and operation. Collaborating closely with Senior VDI System Engineers, you will contribute to the ongoing development and updates of our VDI environment. What you will do:
- You guarantee a reliable and high-performance operation of the virtual machines running on a VDI environment
- You develop software deployment according to deployment guidelines and regulations with various packaging systems (App Volumes, Intune, or SCCM)
- You evaluate new demands and changes on feasibility and complexity as well as their effects on existing or planned environments
- You migrate, implement, configure, and test applications and system software and deploy it to production environments of virtual machines
- You are supporting and collaborating in projects where virtual machines technologies are demanded
- You are willing to work occasionally on weekends, outside office hours, and on-call duty
What you bring & who you are:
- You have a good foundation as a computer scientist of VDI platforms
- You bring one to two years of experience in larger IT environments
- You have a good knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and further development of Windows-based systems in an enterprise hybrid cloud environment
- You already made the experience with various packaging systems (App Volumes, Intune, or SCCM)
- You are familiar with Active Directory Objects (GPOs & User), VMware Horizon (Cloud), software deployment systems, as well as with the Windows client operating systems (10 and 11)
- You are proficient in English (written & oral)
