The role of DevOps Engineer is a pivotal role for Axpo's model platform project team. Our team builds and maintains the cloud infrastructure providing automated CI/CD pipelines, automated flows for user-provided models, auto-scalable cluster orchestration, and many other vital components of the model platform.

What you will do
- Taking a leading role in building a cloud-native platform to run mathematical and data models
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Providing and spreading expertise on DevOps best practices within the team
- Support the product owner by staying up-to-date on the DevOps space to automate and modernize systems
- Documenting and communicating project insights and the results of efforts in your space
- Working closely and communicating at the right level with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
- Participation in projects and technical evaluation of products
Who you are and what you bring
- Either 3+ years in a “DevOps Engineer” role or 5+ years in a software engineering team performing DevOps activities
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience with Docker and a container orchestration system like Kubernetes (specifically AKS).
- Good overview of Azure services and Azure architecture
- Proven experience with monitoring applications and infrastructure using Azure or other cloud-native tools
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language, such as Python or R
- AZ-400 certification (Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions) is considered an advantage
